Former first lady Laura W. Bush recently discussed her post White House plans as they relate to women's issues at a luncheon given in her honor by the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health.
Nursing school to begin undergraduate program for veterans
The Anita Thigpen Perry School of Nursing has begun to seek up to 20 potential applicants for a new baccalaureate nursing program for U.S. Army veterans. Prerequisite online classes for the program start in September. The course begins in January.
Texas Alzheimer's Consortium expands
The Texas Alzheimer's Research Consortium, of which the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is a part, recently expanded to include the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio.
