Alumni Receives Resident Leadership Award

Babiash receives resident leadership award

Kimberly Babiash, MD, Anesthesiology resident, right, was presented with the first Penny L. Vogelsang Resident Leadership Award at the University of Kansas Anesthesiology Residency Graduation Dinner June 5. Vogelsang was chief operating offi cer of Wichita Center for Graduate Medical Education from 1989-2010. The award recognizes Babiash as a WCGME resident “who demonstrates leadership and advocacy on the part of individual residents, residency programs, and the art of medicine.” Babiash is going into private practice with Mid-Continent Anesthesia.
