Dr. Patricia S. Yoder-Wise presented at the lectureship. Currently, she is a professor at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Anita Thigpen Perry School of Nursing in Lubbock, and is also on faculty at Texas Woman's University in Houston.
Dr. Wise presented the Robert M. Bird Society Lecture "Beyond the Moment: The TEAM of Tomorrow" at the Bird Library Auditorium.
She is a noted speaker and writer in the area of nursing leadership. She also is the author of Leadership and Management in Nursing, a three-time American Journal of Nursing book of the year winner and is editor of two nursing journals; The Journal of Continuing Education in Nursing and Nursing Forum. |
