CRYSTAL RIVER — Jorge Ruiz Llanes, MD has been appointed to the medical staff at Seven Rivers Regional Medical Center with privileges in Internal Medicine. The hospital’s governing board recently confirmed his appointment.

Dr. Ruiz Llanes, board certified in internal medicine, received his medical degree from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences, in Havana, Cuba in 1990. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Texas Tech University at El Paso, Texas.

Dr. Ruiz Llanes practiced as a hospitalist at Seven Rivers Medical Center from 2006 to 2008. He is now opening his private practice in Crystal River where new patients are welcome. He is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish.
